Fully vaccinated
If you're fully vaccinated, no tests are required for travel to The Canary Islands (including Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote). Check how you can show proof of vaccination in the Vaccination or Previous infection section.
Not Fully vaccinated
Covid-19 tests are not part of the entry requirements for travel from the UK to The Canary Islands (including Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote).

- On 20th October 2022, Spain published a BOE state bulletin detailing that 'in order to favor the normalization of the international mobility', entry restrictions will be removed effective 00:00 hours on October 21 of 2022.

- Please note that, for the purposes of entry regulations, the UK is considered by Spain and the Canary Islands to be a 'Third Country' (i.e. a country not part of the European Union or the Schengen Area).

You may be subject to additional checks at the point of entry including a temperature check, visual health assessment, or testing on arrival. Passengers may also be contacted and required to undertake a COVID-19 nucleic acid amplification test - NAAT (PCR or similar) at any point up to 48 hours after their arrival in Spain.
Not Fully vaccinated

- At present there are no limitations for travelling to the Canary Islands from anywhere within Spanish territory. As a result, travel between the islands and from the peninsula is possible.
